The Point Cook Homestead was proud to host the inaugural Homestead Blues Festival in February 2008!
Organised in conjunction with Point Cook Laverton Rotary, the Blues Festival is now our annual "icon" event, and the very first music concert to be held at the property. The festival is a fundraiser for Rotary, with half the annual proceeds being put back into heritage projects at the Homestead, and the rest being used for important community projects.
Eight Melbourne blues acts entertained over 2000 people - who also enjoyed glorious bayside weather, wine-tasting, gourmet food and free children's activities.
The next Homestead Blues Festival will be held on Sunday 15th February 2009! Check out the newly launched, dedicated website at www.bluespointcook.com, or email Emma to go on the mailing list.

Only a few weeks later, we were delighted to host RezFest 2008, another inaugural event, over the Easter weekend.
Aimed at young Christians, RezFest is organised by Wyndham City Council, and featured international acts Jars of Clay and the Newsboys. A huge marquee dwarfed the stables, and over 2000 people a day packed in to listen to some great music, and share fellowship.
